Winter in Astoria

We, Astorians, woke up to this beautiful scene this morning.


The picture was taken of Astoria Park along Shore Boulevard with two bridges spanning across it, the RFK (formerly Triboro) Bridge and Hell Gate Bridge. Astoria Park is spread across 59.96-acres and is one of the largest open spaces in Queens. Astoria Park is widely known for its beautiful pool, the oldest and largest in the city, outdoor tennis courts (permit during the season is required), a track, a bandstand, multiple trails, basketball courts, and playgrounds.
